New coach Wayne Bennett helped CEO Terry Reader launch the new jersey at Suncorp Stadium, where the club also announced Adventure Kings as their major sponsor for the next four years.
In a fresh approach to the club’s change-strip, the new jersey will play off Dolphin’s famous red and white heritage jumper – which incorporates the now-iconic gold-hems. The club will also continue to wear its heritage strip for one game each year, taking on a different look each season.
The Redcliffe Dolphins based their new jersey on the iconic 1980s jersey when the club was founded to show their history and pride in it.
The dolphins have announced plans to get a NRL team up and working. this would be the 17th club in the NRL competition, making it the largest professional sporting league in Australia and New Zealand.
As an experienced and professional sports commentator, Mr. Reader will bring a level of passion and professionalism to the Battling Bulllets commentary team that is comparable to no one else. He will be an asset to the team and help provide insight into that first match as well as many others in the future.
